Make a faceless video with a narrator

A faceless video is a narrator over footage, with captions and no face on screen. LoopBatch's Faceless template writes the script, voices it, cuts your clips to it and waits for your approval before it posts.

What you will have
A vertical video with a narrator and captions, waiting for your approval.
What you need
Short clips of your own in Assets: about 24 seconds of them for the full 40-second script.
How long it takes
One run, and a look at the video before you approve it.

The Faceless video with a narrator template

By LoopBatch · Checked 24 September 2026

Before you start

  • A LoopBatch workspace with a connected account on the platform the video goes to.
  • Clips of your own, uploaded to Assets and tagged. The script runs up to 40 seconds and each shot plays at most twice, so about 24 seconds of clips gives the full length. With less than about 6 seconds of clips, the run stops before any paid step.

What a real run made

LoopBatch's own narrated video on stock footage, run 177999ca of 24 September 2026, is 94 seconds long and cost $0.0188 to make, every step included. It was a Test run of LoopBatch's guess-the-country workflow, on Pexels footage, not of this template. The template makes the same kind of video from your own clips, and every run shows its price before it starts.

The price of each step of that run

The steps

  1. In LoopBatch, open Assets and select Upload files. Choose your clips, type a tag such as b-roll in Tags for these files, choose their licence, and select Upload.

  2. Open Templates, then Faceless video with a narrator.

  3. In Topic, write what the video explains. In Footage words, type the tag from step 1.

  4. Choose the Account it posts to, then a Style, an Opening and the Captions.

  5. In profile, choose Test, then select Start.

  6. When the run waits for you, watch the video, read its caption and its checks, then select Approve.

Check the result

  • The video is vertical, and the captions follow the narrator word by word.
  • No shot plays more than twice.
  • The approval shows the AI-generated content disclosure set, because a model voiced the narration.

If something goes wrong

  • If the run says the shots found are too short, add clips with the same tag in Assets and run again. No paid step ran.
  • If the run says the narration lasts longer than the footage, add clips and run again.
  • If a check fails, the run still goes on to the approval. The approval shows the check with its reason, and nothing is posted until you approve it.
  • If Approve reads "Fix media before approval", the video breaks a rule of the platform it goes to. Its page lists them.
