Platform rules

Instagram requirements, checked before you post

LoopBatch checks every Instagram Reel or carousel against 12 rules before it can be approved, each from Meta's own pages or marked as LoopBatch's own. A post that breaks one waits until it is fixed; one more is advice, shown and never blocking.

On every platform the video is also checked for LoopBatch's one encoding: an MP4 file, H.264 video in yuv420p pixels, and AAC audio at 44.1 or 48 kHz.

The AI label on Instagram

LoopBatch sends Instagram's is_ai_generated field with every Reel and every carousel. Meta's words: "a self-disclosure of AI usage in the post" (Meta's IG User Media reference, read 24 September 2026).

By default LoopBatch leaves the AI label to the creator on each post. A workspace can choose to have LoopBatch require it on every post whose picture, video or voice a model made or materially altered, and the platforms ask the creator to disclose such media themselves. Words a model wrote, such as a caption or a script, carry no label unless your workspace asks for one on every post.

What to know before you connect Instagram

  • A Reel is shared to your feed as well unless you turn that off on the approval.
  • Instagram connects a professional account only: a business or a creator account.

Where these rules come from

Each rule is taken from one of Meta's pages, read on the day shown, unless it is marked as LoopBatch's own. Every approval records the date of the rules it was checked against.
