Platform rules
YouTube Shorts requirements, checked before you post
LoopBatch checks every YouTube Short against 7 rules before it can be approved, each from YouTube's own pages or marked as LoopBatch's own. A post that breaks one waits until it is fixed; one more is advice, shown and never blocking.

The AI label on YouTube Shorts
LoopBatch sends YouTube's status.containsSyntheticMedia field with every upload. YouTube's words: it lets "the channel owner disclose that a video contains realistic Altered or Synthetic (A/S) content" (YouTube's videos resource, read 24 September 2026).
By default LoopBatch leaves the AI label to the creator on each post. A workspace can choose to have LoopBatch require it on every post whose picture, video or voice a model made or materially altered, and the platforms ask the creator to disclose such media themselves. Words a model wrote, such as a caption or a script, carry no label unless your workspace asks for one on every post.
What to know before you connect YouTube Shorts
- A Short takes a title of 1 to 100 characters, and the caption becomes its description.
- You choose private, unlisted or public on the approval.
- While LoopBatch's Google app is in testing, Google ends a YouTube connection 7 days after you make it: a project in "Testing" "is issued a refresh token expiring in 7 days" (Google's OAuth 2.0 overview, read 24 September 2026), and the connection is made again.
Where these rules come from
Each rule is taken from one of YouTube's pages, read on the day shown, unless it is marked as LoopBatch's own. Every approval records the date of the rules it was checked against.
